The 8M DualDrive Laser Wire® Kit allows you to create a beautiful, smooth color transitions, at a length of slightly over 26 feet! This is an ideal product for projects that require a longer length of wire and more seamless blending, or fades between colors. The Dual Ended kit allows you to put a laser module at each end. With this, you can create gradients between any 2 different colored modules. Blink or fade modes will let you play with the look of your Laser Wire®, giving a unique appearance and dancing colors never before seen on any other light on the planet. Laser Wire® Cable is the only product that allows you to pick what color your light is while using a sleek thin cable tube. With EL Wire, you are limited to one solid color, and a thicker (and heavier) diameter of wire to work with than our Laser Wire® Cabling. When you use EL Wire, if you want to switch colors, this means you have to take apart the project and replace the full length of wire with a new color. This isn’t the case with Laser Wire® cable. You can achieve dynamic, engaging, innovative visual effects and you are allowed to change it up! This allows for endless customization whenever you feel like it, as well as increase the brightness, longeivty and much more! You can connect up two different colored Laser Modules for endless color customization.
Dual Drive Laser Wire® Kits let you choose your favorite color combinations as well as single color options. By adding different color modules on each end, this longer Laser Wire® kit will allow a wide range of color mixing, between any two colors. Using a Red and Blue module allows for a unique Red-Pink-Purple-Blue gradient that is brilliant. Blue and Green modules combined allows for a beautiful Blue-Aqua-Seafoam-Green gradient, and Red and Green modules combined gives fun Red-Orange-Yellow-Green gradients. This is something never seen before, and a highly desirable effect in the lighting world. Laser Wire® technology will leave you in awe each time you turn it on. We have recently revamped the Laser Wire® Modules so read on below to find the perfect laser module for you.
The OpalDrive Wearable Module includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery which stays powered for up to 6 hours on a single charge (blinking/red). With 3 modes, blink, fade and constant on, the OpalDrive Wearable Laser Module is an all-in-one solution for event, trade shows, retail applications, costuming, consumer products and much more! This module can also be recharged with a micro-USB device, like Power Bank type battery for even longer lasting charge.
Estimated Battery Runtime For OpalDrives varies depending on the color. Each color draws a different amount of power. On a Full Battery Charge, the time you can expect it to illuminate before needing to be recharged is as follows:
Blue - 2-4 hours
Green - 2-4 hours
Red - 3-6 hours
Due to popular demand, we recently released a new laser module; The Capsule Module. The Capsule Module is a perfect module if you are looking to plug in your Laser Wire® to a 5V source, like wall outlet, laptop, car, or a portable power bank battery. This type of module will run in constant ON mode when it is hooked up to power. It's smaller than our OpalDrives, lightweight, compact and easy to use. This module has more heat sinking than the OpalDrive so we find that if using in Retail or Trade Show Displays, or for long periods of continuous use, the Capsule Module is a great fit. The biggest difference between the OpalDrive and the Capsule Module is that the Capsule module doesn't have an internal battery. Both Laser Modules will be the same color and brightness. Capsule Modules are externally controlled via PWM, and can be hooked up to LED DMX Decoders for easy external dimming.
Both choices of Laser Modules are awesome, so choose the best fit for your application. Simply select the laser module type you wish to use in the drop-down menu before adding the product to your cart!

We use common carriers for our shipping, USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL (International). When placing your order, make sure to select the shipping method you need. Most orders take 24-48 hours to process, but custom cut or custom made orders can exceed this timing. If you have an immediate project deadline and want to check shipping, please contact us prior to ordering.
All returns must be accompanied by a return authorization code (RAC). Items returned without a RAC will be refused and no refund will be given. To receive and RAC simply contact Ellumiglow.com at info@ellumiglow and simply reference your Order ID Number. Our telephone staff will not be authorized to give an RAC Number over the phone. Please note that our evening and weekend staff will not have access to your order.
All items that come in boxes must be returned in the same boxes. Returns must be picked up and in transit no more than 30 days from the date of delivery and must include all instructions, pieces etc. On approved returns we offer a complete refund less all shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee. We will make all of the shipping arrangements for you. Please note if you have small doorways, halls or elevators that some large boxes may not fit. Please call for exact dimensions if you are concerned. Orders that will not fit in to a customers home will be subject to this return policy.
Custom Orders: Due to the custom nature of many products, we cannot accept returns on custom orders. These include custom lengths or custom made orders of EL Wire, EL Tape, EL Paint, EL Panels, LED Strip Lights, Laser Wire, SewGlo and VynEL. If you are concerned about the returnability of your products, please call or email us before your purchase.
Due to the nature of EL Paint, any EL Paint orders are ineligible for return, unless the product is defective at the time of delivery. In the event of defective paint and/or other items, the items will be exchanged and shipping costs will be the responsibility of Ellumiglow. Exchanged paint or items may be required to be packaged for shipment by the purchaser.
Please note: Custom cut or custom made lighting applications, driver or programming are non-cancellable, non-returnable upon order commencement. Lighting devices (Electroluminescent, Laser, LED products) from Ellumiglow/Future Illuminations used in combination with a driver and/or inverter from outside companies voids product warranty without exceptions.
We've made the returns process simple. Products purchased through Ellumiglow and under warranty* may be returned for replacement by following these steps:
1. Contact Ellumiglow's Customer Service at 877-615-6556, or email support@ellumiglow.com to obtain an RAC number. NOTE: Submissions without an RAC number will not be completed.
2. Fill out the Return Authorization Form in its entirety and submit the form. Please write the RAC code on outside of shipping box.
3. Return the authorized item(s) per shipping instructions.
4. Our Replacement Department will process your request.
