Ever find yourself just a foot or two short from connecting your LED controller, lights or MEGA EL Inverter to your power supply? Ellumiglow now offers 2.1mm DC Extension cables, compatible with most of our LED controllers and MEGA inverters.
It’s dead simple! Just connect the female jack of the DC extension cable to the output of your power supply or rechargeable battery pack, and connect the male end to the DC input.
The diameter of the DC center pin and jack is 2.1mm on both ends - compatible with many of the products listed on our site. On the outer rim of the jack, it’s 5.5mm.
We do not recommend connecting a power supply with a current output of over 5 amps using this extension cable - this extension cable is meant for lower current EL and LED applications, up to 5 amps at 5, 12, or 24 volts DC.
Choose between 18-22AWG and your choice of color (White or Black). These are common configurations for CCTV among many other low voltage lighting applications.
