The Laser Wire® Patch Cable is a great way to extend the usable distance between the laser module and illuminated section of Laser Wire® cabling. The cable itself is a black, non-illuminated fiber, and will "transport" about 99% of the light from one end to the other. This makes it great if you need to house your laser modules in a different area than where the laser wire illuminated section begins. Each end of the patch cable will have our standard FC Connector, and each patch cable comes with a FC-FC Coupler that will allow the product to be placed directly inline between the Laser Wire® Capsule or DMX RGB Module without any special tools required. A small portion of coupling gel is also included.
Now available in a number of different connector configurations! If you have a Capsule module or DMX module, likely the FC to FC selection will be the most appropriate. However if you are looking to minimize the connection between the patch kit and the Laser Wire® cabling, you might opt for the FC to LC connection. The first connector is meant to be fitted onto your laser module. The second connector is meant to be fitted to your Laser Wire® cable. This second connector comes with a FC-FC coupler OR LC to LC coupler. The LC to LC is most common when using the OpalDrive wearable modules and want a slim connection for wearable devices.
