Brand New for 2012, our new Electric Optics Portable Split EL Tape Kit has been redesigned from the ground up. NOW Made in the USA, giving you brighter colors, to more stable battery packs, the new tape kits are unlike anything you have ever seen! Portable tape kit is a waterproof sheer plastic coating that is now using a split electrode system, and brighter than ever. Our 2012 Tape has a light output of about 30-35 Foot Lamberts which is about double the brightness over our previous version. This tape is perfect for hallways, car pin striping, or to wear out at night to be seen. Also upgraded is the 9V Battery Pack, which now uses a different frequency. This specialized battery pack runs off of a different frequency, which allows a brighter tape, as well as longer battery life. Over time, your tape will last longer with our newly designed packs as well. The one downside is that our new Battery Packs for Tape no longer work in conjunction with EL Wire. Portable Tape kits are great for pinstriping, wrapping your favorite musical instrument, or allowing an additional safety element at night.

Portable Tape Kit comes with 5 Feet of 1/2" EL Tape in your choice of colors (select color using the dropdown windows), as well as our EL Tape 9V Battery Pack which takes (1) 9V Battery (Not Included).
