This is not an inverter. The Electric Optics AC Adapter for EL Wire is a 12V Adapter that functions as a power source for our line of DC inverters. These inverters have a special input where the AC adapter will fit and will power your EL Wire without having a battery nearby. Great for home use, or just getting the most out of your Battery Packs. You can now power the same Battery Pack with or without a battery simply by plugging into the nearest outlet. Try pairing with our Sound Activated Inverter for great results!

Update: December 2011: We are excited to announce all new 2012 inverters will include a DC connector which will plug directly into our AC Adapters! No special tools required alas!
